Taka & Yoshi Kanasashi
A Tokyo-based creative studio commissioned this project to design a font for their branding identity. Departing from the name Chateau 2D, it traces back to Chateau Marmont in Hollywood as the main inspiration for the Medieval style and ‘Libra’ font on the original logo. This font is designed with a cleaner shape, combined with sharp edges to keep the classic touch and an imperfect outline to create a humanist feel.
